The Fond du Lac School District offers a half-day, 4-year-old-kindergarten (4K) experience, as well as limited full-day options. Children who will be four years old on or before September 1, 2026, are eligible to attend for the 2026-27 school year. 4-Year-Old Kindergarten is intended for students between 48 and 65 months of age. Students older than 65 months are age-appropriate for 5-year-old Kindergarten.
We are planning for the 2026-27 school year, and more information will be available soon.
Currently, there are 4K classrooms at the following District elementary schools:
Evans (PM Only)
Chegwin (AM, PM and full-day options available)
Parkside (PM Only)
Pier (full-day options available)
Riverside (full-day options available)
Rosenow (AM and PM)
Waters (AM and PM)
Programs will also be offered at the following community partner sites: Camelot Children’s Center, Christian Parents for Kids, Ebenezer (AM Only), ADVOCAP Head Start, Hope Preschool, Kidz Choice Learning Center, Lily Pad Learning Center (AM Only) and the YMCA. Many families access 4K at these community partner sites, and children are eligible to attend 4K at any of these locations for no charge.
