The Fond du Lac School District (FDLSD) welcomes students residing in the district borders, whether from FDLSD or outside, to attend the 2025 Summer Adventure Academy. Families can participate in fun and enriching learning activities offered at multiple sites this June, July and August.

The Summer Adventure Academy program for 4K - Grade 11 students (based on 2024-25 grade level) includes:

• Summer Academic Growth/Credit Recovery: These are classes offered to

  students by invitation only that provide additional support in reading and math

  for grade 5K-8 students and opportunities for grade 9-11 students to earn

  credits toward graduation.

• Enrichment Classes: a wide variety of high-interest and activity-based classes

  offering crafts, games, technology, music, sports and more. Registration for these

  classes begins April 28, 2025, in your Skyward Family Access account.
  

If your child is a current FDLSD student you do not need to enroll online.

If you live in the district but attend a private or parochial school, follow these steps to enroll and register for summer courses through FDL-SD Skyward Family Access.

1. Create or Activate your FDLSD Family Access Skyward account, complete this online form.

2. Once completed, you will be contacted to continue with enrollment set-up. During that time, you will need to send the following information to Jenny Vang, Summer Academy Registrar, at vangj@fonddulac.k12.wi.us.

   1. Photo ID of parent/guardian

   2. Original birth certificate of student

   3. Two proofs of residency (Proof of Residency Requirements)

3. When your residency is verified and your student is registered, you will receive a separate log-in for Skyward with an access link, username and password to register for classes.

Summer Adventure Academy Registration: Opens on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 7p.

To successfully register for Summer Academy Enrichment classes, please first complete the enrollment steps (if not previously enrolled) and review the course catalog.

Once registration opens, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Skyward Family Access account. 

2. Select “Arena Scheduling” in the left sidebar ("Arena Scheduling" will be available in Skyward once registration opens, so it will help to refresh Skyward at 7p).

3. Note the "COURSE ID" listed in the course catalog to easily cross-reference and confirm the correct course has been selected in Skyward.

4. Choose the preferred courses (based on current 2024-25 grade).

5. Select "View/Print Schedule" to double-check courses and schedule.

6. Select "Submit" 

   • IMPORTANT: Once submitted, it is not possible to change classes in Skyward. Contact Bill Greymont, Lead Summer Adventure Academy Coordinator at greymontw@fonddulac.k12.wi.us  for assistance. 

   • IMPORTANT: Once submitted, it may say "waiting" -- have no fear, your classes are locked in and will be officially approved in the coming days.

7. Bus Transportation Sign Up Form: Please complete the bus transportation form if your child will take the bus to their summer classes.

Reminders:

Students are registered for courses based on their current grade level. For example, students currently in the second grade are eligible for all summer courses that include second grade students.

Students cannot sign up for the same class more than once, whether that is repeating it within one session or registering for it in multiple class periods. 

Payment for courses:  

Please submit cash or check on the first day of class.
