Today, Friday, April 25, 2025, Lakeshore students joined the City of Fond du Lac in celebrating Arbor Day by learning from local foresters about the importance of trees and how this day supports a better future. Thanks to Festival Foods for donating a tree and seedlings for students to plant. A little rain couldn’t hold back our students, who proudly planted the tree at Lakeside Park as part of the celebration. The City was also recognized with its 37th Tree City USA Award.

The future is bright, and it's right here in our classrooms! ✨
This beautiful handprint wreath, made by Miss Friess's students, reminds us that every child holds the potential to shape the world. We're so proud of our students and dedicated educators who inspire them every day.
